1) Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check-in

I had king room that also was complete with all the amenities, open window, as for instance. An electric kettle and a fridge were very handy. Spent here 3 good days and would come here again...

Fairly clean central hotel with polite and courteous staff.

Electric tea kettle with cups and instant coffee packets made mornings easier. Remote control switches for the light-blocking blinds were a nice touch for early risers.

Finding the entrance can be tricky. Without clear signs, even basic navigation was like a challenge. AC had its quirks, sometimes cooling when you didn't want it to, and I wished for a more intuitive bidet experience.

The romantic suite with the round bed felt luxurious, and the attention to cleanliness was excellent. Daily housekeeping ensured everything remained super clean. Navigating the building was a bit tricky due to the lack of clear signage. The location's proximity to great restaurants and amenities was spot on. I appreciated having a mini-fridge in the room for snacks. One downside was the noise from adjacent rooms, which could be bothersome at times.

The bed was comfy, but finding the hostal was a bit tricky.

It was just a well-suited match for exploring town in Madrid with value for money. The fridge in the room was a nice convenience for keeping drinks cool. Make sure to check your room number ahead of time to avoid confusion when you arrive.

A Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Madrid!

We enjoyed our stay ! The staff went out of their way at every turn, helping us discover local gems around Puerta del Sol. Our Superior Suite was immaculate, complete with a fridge for our snacks. Don't miss out on the local Montaditos next door for good tapas!

Hostal Alexis features excellent staff who provided excellent service throughout my stay. They accommodated our late arrival, ensured our room was impeccably clean, and stocked with amenities. Its location is ideal, within walking distance of Puerta del Sol and cultural highlights like the Prado Museum.

The entrance can be somewhat tricky to locate.

Hostal alexis was a great choice for our stay! The bed and pillows were super comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being so close to bars and shopping made exploring so easy. Our room was clean and quiet, a big plus!

The location was perfect for our explorations around Madrid, especially with two little kids in tow. Our room offered a nice balance of comfort and amenities. The staff was supportive in suggesting family-friendly local spots, our adventures were smooth.

My wife says that the nearby nightlife was a bit loud sometimes.

The room we stayed in was super spacious and the massive bed made for an amazing night's sleep. I loved being able to relax in the well-maintained lounge area and unwind on the lovely terrace. The only minor issue was that the shower had a slight drip, but it didn't really spoil our stay 😊

The location is unbeatable, with everything just a short walk away (Plaza del Sol, amazing tapas bars, etc.). The staff was super friendly, and the cleanliness was great. Plus, we found great restaurants nearby!
